So what is left to do when you are finished your final MA project? An exhibition to show off all your hard work of course! I have spent the last few weeks painting, building shelves, hanging, nailing etc but I am pretty pleased with the results.

The Mountain I painted on the wall with acrylic and colouring pencils. The Perspex letters were laser cut at the Penryn Campus, which I think gives the space that ‘professional’ look.

I used my show space as an opportunity to display work that is difficult to reproduce. For example my oil paintings on wood and drawings on glassine paper.

I encourage people to pick up the oil painting, feel the texture and examine the close up detail. The show also gave me an opportunity to show some of the originals from ‘The Mountain that Moved’ for example the large collage which features on the final pages.
